Sebastian is a senior consultant and software developer at BlockZero with 8 years of technical experience in blockchain security, cryptography, computational number theory, decentralized finance, bitcoin hashrate simulations, financial and operational modeling, bitcoin mining infrastructure and carbon sequestration technologies.  

 

His passion for helping others appreciate technical fields has led him from university teaching, where he won teaching awards, to consulting leadership within various emerging technology industries. His unique experience as a consultant for Canadian oil and gas, as well as for decentralized finance in South America, has helped him develop a global vision of the possibilities and limits of blockchain technology.
